We are honored and thrilled to welcome Matthias Treutwein as our very first Open Lecture speaker in the new GTEC offices (located at Mindspace-Mitte: entrance at Mohrenstr. 50).
Matthias is a strong force of good in the social entrepreneurship scene, having worked in international development (Transparency International, The Owners Forum, InWent) and cultural management (Goethe Institute, Bosch-Foundation), and now at his own company, enpact.
Matthias has a high level of cultural awareness that he developed during several study and work sojourns in the MENA region, and he is very interested in fostering networks, which he has succeeded in accomplishing through his company, enpact. enpact was founded with the aim of strengthening economic relations between young entrepreneurs from the start-up scenes of the Middle East, North-, East-, West- Africa and Europe. Starting off with mentoring programs, enpact’s activities now include the creation of inclusive startup spaces in emerging economics, startup related research and startup ecosystem expedtions. enpact partners with various institutions, like the BMW-Foundation, the City of Berlin, the Drosos Foundation, the Federal Foreign Office, the Friedrich-Naumann Foundation Tunisia, different GIZ programs in Egypt, Jordan and Tunisia, the Westerwelle Foundation and various stakeholders and actors in the respective project countries.
We can all agree that such initiatives are essential for the success of entrepreneurs and we’re sure there’s much to learn from this seasoned entrepreneur and humanitarian. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the first Open Lecture at GTEC HQ!
